In the film “The Matrix,” Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) offers Neo (Keanu Reeves) a choice: to take the red pill or the blue pill “You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

Should he take the blue pill and remain in the comforting, familiar, simulated world of The Matrix, forgetting that there is any alternative, or take the red pill and awaken in a much, much harsher world, but the real world?  The choice is between comfort and the truth.
