Is there a Multiverse?

Summary

The majority of the brightest minds on the planet believe that there is quite a lot more to reality than just our universe.  In fact currently the most popular view is that there is a multitude of universes out there (a multiverse).  Indeed it is also possible that there may be more than one type of multiverse; there may be a multitude of multiverses.

• The Anthropic Principle
  • That the physical constants all seem tailor-made for life would be a vast, unlikely coincidence if there were not an infinite, or near infinite, number of universes. By the Anthropic Principle we inevitably find ourselves in one suitable for life.
